ABOUT THE LOCATION

Old Dune Farm LLC is a 13-acre farm located in SW Michigan and is part of the Great Lakes region.

Old Dune Farm sits on top of an ancient sand dune left by glaciers that first covered and then formed the Great Lakes over 20,000 years ago.

The property is cleared in the middle and surrounded on 3 sides by woods full of oak, beech, and hemlock trees.

Our property used to operate as a small organic blueberry farm. We decided to replace the blueberries and instead develop prairie areas full of native grasses and flowers. These large plantings attract pollinators which are crucial to our ecosystem.

Old Dune Farm is 100% woman owned. My husband and I live on the property with our two dogs Lulu and Frankie. We are empty nesters with five adult children, and seven grandchildren.

Before I started growing cannabis, I worked as an environmental lawyer and sustainability consultant.

I helped companies adopt effective strategies to increase profits by reducing water, energy, and waste usage where possible, and providing a product that helps people.
